The Quick Swing Story

Joe, Jake and Billy Mauer Jake Mauer II has come a long way with a product that he invented to help his three sons learn to hit a baseball more consistently. With the weather conditions in Minnesota, Mauer felt that his boys--Billy, Jake & Joe Mauer--werent getting enough swings during the weather-shortened baseball season.

We had to come up with a tool that could be used indoors. With the Quickswing, weather is no longer a factor in getting your cuts in, Mauer points out. He had no idea that his original contraption made out of PVC pipe, a coffee can, and cement would someday revolutionize conventional baseball training aids, and become the fastest growing training aid on the market.

Many high schools, colleges, youth associations, and thousands of individual players across the country use the Quickswing in their daily training regimens. They all have one common goal in mind-to become better hitters!! The Quickswing is a very simple idea with a very unique twist. It allows you to take batting practice by yourself, while hitting a moving ball.

Joe Mauer was the #1 overall player selected in the 2001 Major League Baseball draft and is the Minnesota Twins starting catcher.
Jake Mauer was drafted by the Minnesota Twins and currently plays in their minor league farm system.
Billy Mauer was drafted by the Minnesota Twins but shoulder problems forced him to retire from baseball.
